How to raise a concern.

Announcement June 20, 2012

Do you have concerns about a particular ad or user?  This post is here to explain the preferred format that we would like you to follow to ensure the fastest results.

While it may be tempting to email us directly at Firearms Canada, we should let you know that we receive hundreds of site related emails a day.  It takes time to sort through these emails and, at times, emails can fall through the cracks.

The best way to voice your concern is to use the “Leave a Reply” box at the bottom of the ad in question.  This way, every user can instantly take heed of your suspicion and all of the Firearms Canada moderators are able to take follow up action.

Even if you don’t have 100% proof that an ad or a user is out of line, it doesn’t hurt to simply post your suspicions that things may not be in order.

Finally, there are dedicated sections in the Firearms Canada forum where you can “report a buyer” and “report a seller”.  We would suggest any concerns that you are unable to voice directly in the ad (for example if the ad has been removed) be made here.
