Revolver Webley RIC No. 1; SN 831;Calibre: .450 CF; Standard a (114 mm) length ovate-shape barrel, Solid frame. Cylinder body formed from solid steel block. Webley service revolvers are among the most powerful revolvers ever produced The revolver is in very good condition. The action is crisp and accurate. The gun functions properly in both: in single as well as double action. The bore is clean, with strong rifling, and moderate bumps and spots along the length of it showing minimal wear. The lock-up is tight, the cylinder indexes properly. Standard plain cylinder without flutes engraved with "3" and "838". Cylinder's (bored for 6 chambers) has very strong locking notches. Spring-loaded loading gate is functioning properly which permits loading and ejection; it is fitted to the right-hand side of the frame. The one-piece grip is very fine without cracks or missing chips, visibly chequered ,solid walnut stock with moderate wear to the wood. Rated unaltered, not refurbished, very good overall.
