Before sending money always exchange personal information: full name, home phone number, home address, PAL number, complete firearm data, year of manufacture, serial number and confirm that everything is correct and legitimate. You are legally required to verify the PAL of the buyer, and all restricted and prohibited firearms must be transferred through the Canadian Firearms Program 1-800-731-4000.
Don’t rush to send out the money in fear of losing the deal. Do a specific internet search, as well as a reverse image search, on the details of the ad to see if the sellers picture is unique, or if it was taken from another website.
Request detailed pictures be sent, perhaps with a specific item in the background to prove the seller has the item in question. If the advertised price is way too good to be true, it very well may be. Proceed with caution. Check the users feedback, history and date of joining by using the “Poster” tab on the right side of the ad page.
